Burnaby Police Officers Lauded for Handling Verbal Abuse

Nowadays there are many videos online showing the abuse of people by police officers. About three days ago, a video surfaced of the Burnaby RCMP being verbally assaulted, but staying extremely calm. The video has now become viral and the police in the video are being applauded by those it has reached.
The altercation in the video was between the officers and a group of young men on Halloween night. The officers had responded to a call in regards to fireworks and were met with a group of young men who were furious.
The video showed the officers calmly standing by while the young men insulted and swore at the officers. Many viewers praised the officers’ calmness and condemned the lack of respect of the young men.
