Centennial High School’s walls were vandalized last week overnight. Students say that the vandalism was a response to an ongoing dispute regarding vaping on school property.
The word ‘Consty’ was used again and again to target the schools constable. It appears that some students are upset due to the confiscation of vapes, by the constable, being used on school property. By law, students over the age of 18 are allowed to vape, but not on school properties.
Students who spoke out say that this is between the constable and ‘the pit’ kids. ‘the pit’ is an area on school property where the kids who smoke get together. One student is disappointed in her colleagues for making the stereotype of ‘the pit’ kids to be true by causing trouble.
