Mounties say that back in September a suspect of a robbery in Burnaby B.C. used an umbrella to hide his face while robbing a bank. Until now, investigators are still trying to identify him.

On Wednesday, Mounties released surveillance footage of the suspect in hopes that he will be recognized by someone. The footage was recorded on Sept. 17 after 9 a.m. near Canada Way and Boundary Road.

The robbery took place on a sunny day so the RCMP are hoping that this will jog some people’s memory. No one was harmed during the robbery and the suspect made off with a small amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a 6 feet tall white man with a heavy build. During the robbery he wore dark pants, a blue bomber jacket and yellow tinted sun glasses.

Please call Burnaby RCMP detachment at 604-646-9999 if you have any information or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 to remain anonymous.
