A man in his early 30s is now facing charges after sending a Calgary Police officer to the ER during a hit and run incident during August of this year.
After responding to a suspicious vehicle report, the officer was run over by the vehicle as the suspect attempted to flee the scene. After the hit and run, the officer was taken to the ER in critical condition.
Despite his injuries, the officer is in good spirits as he recovers.
