Edmonton police officers volunteered some of their time to act as personal shoppers for students from various schools in Edmonton.
CopShop, an annual community program, provides a $200 gift card to each student to use for their holiday shopping at Londonderry Mall.
The student participants are handpicked by school principals and Edmonton police according to need, their performance academically, and other efforts.
This program is run in hopes to make a positive impact in the community. It is meant to help youth who deserve more and enable them to build relationships with the officers.
