Mark Lukyn was out on bail on Monday when the VPD said that he removed his monitoring device.
The suspect was granted bail after being charged with multiple counts of forcible confinement, sexual assault, assault causing bodily harm, and assault with a weapon while uttering threats in connection with an incident in the city.
The VPD believes that the 41-year-old removed his monitoring device around 102 Avenue and King George Boulevard in Surrey and is known to hang around Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
He’s described as a 41-year-old white male with short dyed blond hair and a stubble beard. His height is 5-11 and has a tattoo on his right forearm of a fish skeleton and another of a dagger with flowers on the upper part of his right arm. He was last seen wearing sandals, a black hoodie, and blue jeans.
